Mission
The Portland Symphonic Girlchoir provides a unique and challenging program of choral music education for girls and young women ages 6 to 18. PSG inspires singers to strive for personal and artistic excellence by providing rewarding performance experiences regionally, nationally and internationally, valuing the tradition of live performance featuring the compelling sound of young women’s voices. We provide challenging, eclectic programming with diverse repertoire and are committed to commissioning new works, fostering relationships between composers and singers. With this dedicated group of young artists, we are creating the choral community of the future while giving girls and young women a distinct voice in the community today.
